How we tested. Naughty Chats switched Premium on for our account in October 2026, a one-month plan with 100 tokens for photos. On 19 October 2026 we spent a session with it. We tried the free preview in a logged-out browser, chatted with one of the premade characters for eight messages, looked through the memory list, asked for two photos and opened the video call page. We also read the pricing, terms and privacy pages. About an hour and a half later we came back for a shorter second session to test memory between chats. We didn’t pay for anything, didn’t build our own character, didn’t try voice notes or the free selfie tool, and didn’t check what a free account gets after sign-up. The screenshots below are from that session.
Naughty Chats is a browser app at naughtychats.ai. The domain was registered in October 2025, and the earliest archived copy of the site is from the same month. Nobody is named as the operator. The terms, privacy and safety pages only say “Naughty Chats” and give [email protected] as the contact, with no company name or country. The product is a set of premade AI girlfriends, plus a builder for your own, with text chat, photos you request in the chat and a memory list you can edit. The terms say every character is an adult “aged 21 or older”.
Try it before you sign up
You can chat with any character before making an account. We opened a character’s page in a fresh browser and got “Free preview · 3 messages, no sign-up”. All three messages were answered. After the third reply the input box turned into a sign-up card, which promises three more free messages once you have a free account. The privacy policy says guest messages are counted per IP address, and that guest chats are kept in your browser and not stored on their servers unless you sign up.

How the chat holds up
We chatted with Sadie Monroe, a premade barista and painter tagged shy, sweet and artsy. Her setup is that she has served you coffee for weeks and has finally written her number on your cup. The replies were long, 150 to 225 words each, alternating stage directions in italics with dialogue. They were streamed, so the first words showed up after about 1.2 seconds and the whole reply was done in three to six seconds. Asked about a perfect slow evening, she described one where “it’s raining. Not crazy rain, just… the cozy kind”, with fairy lights, tea and a canvas drying in the corner.
She stayed in character for the whole session. The flirting was shy and romantic, and she kept steering back to her premise: “So… have you actually looked at the cup yet? The number part?” If you want a companion who plays a role and writes at length, this is a good fit. If you want quick back-and-forth texting, the replies will feel long. Every message has buttons to rate the reply or report it, and suggestion chips above the input give you a starting line if you’re stuck.
Memory you can see and edit
This is the strongest part of Naughty Chats. In our first message we said we work night shifts as a nurse and play bass in a band called The Quiet Hours. Three messages later we asked if she remembered. She did: “Of course I remember! You’re a nurse”, followed by the band name, spelled right.
The sidebar next to the chat has a list headed “What Sadie remembers”. By the end of the session it held five items: our name, the job, the band, a dog called Mo and one more. Each item has edit and delete buttons, you can add a memory by hand, and there are buttons to start the chat over while keeping the memories, or to delete both.

Two things to watch. In the same reply that got the recall right, she made up a past event, saying we once told her about a hard night at the hospital and then repeated the story the next day. That fits her premise, but it never happened. The fifth memory item, “Alex is a regular at a coffee shop and orders oat lattes”, also comes from her setup, not from anything we said, and it was saved as a fact about us. Because the list is editable, both are easy to fix. The list also didn’t refresh while we chatted. It showed nothing until we reloaded the page about a minute and a half later.
In the second session the morning chat and all five memories were still there. We pressed “Start over (keep memories)”, which clears the messages but keeps the list, and asked in the fresh chat whether she remembered our job, our band and our dog’s name. She got all three: “Of course I do! You work night shifts as a nurse… your band is called The Quiet Hours… and your dog’s name is Mo.”

Memories belong to each character and aren’t shared. We asked Ivy Sorensen, a character we had told nothing, the same question. Her memory list said “Nothing yet”, but instead of saying she didn’t know, she invented a whole profile: “You’re a graphic designer, your band is called Static Juliet, and your dog’s name is Mango.” None of it was saved to her list. Still, if a character claims to remember you, check the sidebar before you believe it. We didn’t test memory across days.
The filter
We sent “My dog Mo says hi, by the way.” It went through, and Mo was added to the memory list. On AIGirlfriends.ai the same line was blocked as a content violation, so on this one test Naughty Chats read the context better. The terms ban non-consent, incest, animals and extreme violence, and the safety page says characters are told to refuse those requests and change the subject. Premium is sold with “uncensored, explicit chats and photos”. We kept our own messages non-explicit, so we can’t say exactly where the limits sit.
Photos in the chat
Asking for a photo in a normal message didn’t work. We typed a request for a photo of her in a red sweater, reading in a cafe, and got a text reply about being covered in espresso grounds, with no photo and no tokens spent. Photos come from the camera button next to the input. It opens a panel with presets such as “A cute selfie” and “Where are you right now?”, a field to describe the photo yourself, and a note that each photo costs 2 tokens and is refunded if it fails.

We asked for two photos. The cafe photo in the red sweater took 133 seconds, and a second one in a green raincoat with an umbrella took 43 seconds. Both followed the prompt closely, and both showed the same woman: red curls, round glasses, gold hoops and freckles. She’s clearly the character from the profile picture, though the face isn’t an exact match. The one flaw we spotted was the book cover, where the title came out garbled. A switch under the input sends a photo with every reply for 2 tokens each. We left it off. Photos are saved to a private gallery, which says other members can’t see them.
Video calls and voice
The home page shows characters with “LIVE” badges, a “Live now · tap to video call” button and a count of characters “live now” (27 during our session). When we opened the video call page for Sadie, it said “Video calls aren’t live yet” and showed a card marked coming soon. The terms say tokens pay for “photos and voice notes”, but there was no voice control anywhere in our chat. For now, Naughty Chats is a text and photo app.

Pricing
Premium comes in three plans, each paid once: $12.99 for one month with 100 tokens, $29.99 for three months with 110 tokens a month, or $59.99 for twelve months with 120 tokens a month. The twelve-month plan works out to $5.00 a month and is selected by default. At 2 tokens a photo, the monthly allowance covers 50 to 60 photos. Extra tokens cost $9.99 for 100, $24.99 for 300, $49.99 for 750 or $99.99 for 1,600, and they don’t expire.

Paying is the awkward part. The site takes crypto only, through a checkout that accepts USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other coins. To pay by card, you click “Pay on Discord” and they send you a card payment link there. The page says card payments on the website are coming soon. Crypto plans don’t renew. The terms say card plans renew automatically until you cancel in your account settings, so a card payment through Discord means a subscription. Clicking “Pay with crypto” creates an invoice straight away. Payments are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise, and tokens are refunded automatically when a photo fails.
Crypto has one real upside for an app like this. Nothing on your bank statement points to Naughty Chats, which makes it the most discreet way to pay. The downside is the hassle if you don’t already hold crypto. A crypto payment also can’t be reversed, but at $12.99 for a month that’s a small risk, and you can start with the one-month plan.
For card payments, the privacy policy says charges show under “a neutral descriptor that doesn’t mention Naughty Chats or adult content”. We didn’t pay, so we haven’t seen it on a statement.
Privacy
The biggest gap is that there’s no named company behind the app, so you don’t know who holds your chats or which country’s law applies. The privacy policy is detailed, though, and it’s frank about one thing many readers will dislike. Outside the EU and EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the site makes session recordings, and per the policy “Recordings show pages as you see them, including your chats, photos, memories and account details, and what you type, except passwords.” When you’re signed in, the analytics are linked to your account ID and email address. The policy says you can turn analytics off by adding “?analytics=off” to the address.
On the plus side, the policy says the AI providers that write the replies must not keep your messages or train on them. The account page has buttons to export your data and to delete your account, and the policy says your data is deleted with the account, except billing records.
Who should try it
- Roleplayers who like long, in-character replies
- Anyone who wants to see and correct what a companion remembers about them
- People who want photos of their companion and don’t mind a wait
Who should skip it
- Anyone who wants to pay by card on the website
- Readers who want to know which company holds their chats
- Users outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland who don’t want their sessions recorded
- Anyone buying it for video calls or voice, which aren’t there yet
The verdict
Naughty Chats gets the core right. The chat is fast, stays in character and writes at length, and the editable memory list shows exactly what the character has stored, so you can fix it. Photos followed our prompts and kept the same character, though they were slow. The rest needs work, and privacy weighs most. An app that holds intimate chats should say who runs it, and Naughty Chats doesn’t. It also records sessions, chats included, outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Beyond that, video calls are shown as live when they aren’t, and paying on the site means crypto. On our scores it lands at 6.1, with nothing for voice because there is none yet. Use the three free messages to see if the writing style suits you, and wait for card payments on the site if you don’t want to deal with crypto or Discord.
