Editor’s note, June 2026: Lovescape has repositioned since this review was written. The site now sells itself as an “AI Porn Generator – Unfiltered Images & Videos”. The companion framing this review describes is gone from the marketing. The credit currency is now called tokens (it was marketed as “chips” when we tested), there are signs of a new “Creative Pro” tier, and the Soulmate annual tier we subscribed to can no longer be verified from the outside. The operator is Warmtech Ltd. Also relevant: Xtease.AI runs as a white-label of the same Lovescape platform (its assets are served from cdn.lovescape.com), so treat the two as one operator when weighing independence and privacy. The review below describes the product as tested in spring 2026.
Lovescape launched in 2024 and has since clocked roughly 150,000 registered users and a self-reported 4.9/5 average rating, which would be one of the highest in the category if you took it at face value. I don’t, fully (self-reported ratings in AI companion apps have a selection bias the size of a bus), but the product has enough going for it that the user base is at least plausibly happy on aggregate. I spent a week on a Soulmate annual sub and another few days poking at the monthly tiers.
Lovescape’s pitch as we tested it was visual-first: images, audio, and short video clips embedded directly in the conversation, without forcing you to bounce between a chat tab and a media tab. The execution is mostly good. The pricing is aggressive enough to be interesting. And there’s one privacy thing you need to know about before you hand over a card.
The visual-first pitch, and whether it delivers
Most companion apps in 2026 do images. Some do voice. A handful do video. Lovescape is one of the few that tries to weave all three into the conversation itself, so the experience reads more like a rich messaging thread than a text chat with a separate media gallery.
In practice this means: your companion “sends” you a selfie and the image appears inline, she “sends” a voice note and it plays inline, she “sends” a short video and the clip embeds next to the text bubble. It’s a UX decision rather than a technical one, but UX decisions are what separate products in this category. The inline pattern makes the experience feel closer to actually texting someone, which is the whole point.
Image quality is solid. Character consistency within a companion is good across generations (the person doesn’t change face on you mid-conversation), and both realistic and stylized art are supported. It’s not the sharpest image output in the category (Candy’s inline generation still edges it on raw quality), but it’s competitive and the inline flow is genuinely nicer than Candy’s in some configurations.
Video is the newest leg of this stool. Clips are short, early-generation, and work best on static scenes. Same caveats as every competitor doing video in 2026: hands, face drift on motion, occasional uncanny moments. When it hits, it’s fun. When it misses, you roll your eyes and generate another.
Audio is in-band, meaning your companion’s voice notes play without leaving the chat, and the quality is TTS rather than true conversational voice. Latency is fine. Voice is not the reason to buy Lovescape; it’s a pleasant addition.
Chat quality
The writing is fine. Competent, category-standard, occasionally charming. Not at Candy’s literary level and not as consistently punchy as Secrets on a good day, but it doesn’t collapse into generic chatbot cadence and characters hold voice across sessions. Where it shines is when you let the visuals do the work: a scene with inline images and voice notes covers over any writing that would otherwise feel thin.
Memory is adequate. Short-term within a conversation is strong; long-term recall across sessions drifts after a few weeks. That’s average for the category. Secrets and Candy are the ones that pull ahead specifically on memory; Lovescape is middle-of-the-pack.
Pricing, which is genuinely aggressive
A hedge first: these are the rates from our spring 2026 testing. With the repositioning, the tier lineup appears to have shifted (there are signs of a new “Creative Pro” tier, and the Soulmate tier can no longer be verified from outside an account), so re-check the pricing page before paying.
As tested, monthly plans ran $5.99 to $12.99 depending on tier. The annual plans were where Lovescape got interesting.
- Soulmate annual: $7.99/month, billed up front. A 47% discount versus monthly. This was the sweet-spot tier and the one most users landed on.
- Longer-term annual plans: up to 70% off the monthly rate, depending on commitment length and any active promo.
For context: Candy’s annual is around $5.99/month (at ~54% off monthly), Secrets’ Lite annual is $4/month, MyLovely’s annual lands around $4/month on its best promos, and Joi’s annual saves only ~25%. Lovescape’s $7.99 Soulmate is competitive in that context but not the floor of the category. MyLovely is cheaper for users who specifically want the lowest sticker, and Secrets is cheaper for chat-only users.
On top of the subscription sits a credit system for NSFW content. The currency is called tokens (marketed as “chips” when we tested). You get a monthly token allocation included with your tier, and additional tokens are purchased as needed. The tokens burn fast during NSFW sessions. This is the category-standard hook where the base sub gets you in the door and the media extras are where the real per-user revenue lives. Heavy NSFW users should budget for regular token top-ups or they’ll run out mid-scene and feel the friction.
The free monthly token allocation is enough to try the feature but not enough to make Lovescape viable on the free allowance alone if you’re using the product as intended.
The privacy problem
Know this before you pay: Lovescape does not offer end-to-end encryption on its chats.
That’s not a minor technical footnote. E2E means nobody, not even the platform, can read your messages. Without E2E, your chats are encrypted in transit and at rest, but Lovescape’s own infrastructure can see them. Every hosted companion app without E2E has this property; it’s just that Lovescape’s privacy language doesn’t foreground the limitation the way a user might expect.
OurDream and Secrets AI both claim E2E, so they’re the comparison points if it matters to you. Both claims are the vendors’ own, with no published audit. Candy.ai doesn’t offer E2E either, but Candy has a longer clean track record. Lovescape’s lack of E2E isn’t uniquely bad (it’s the default in the category), but the marketing copy can leave you with the impression that your chats are more locked-down than they actually are. Full breakdown in the Lovescape safety review.
No public breaches as of June 2026. Muah.ai had a major incident in October 2024 (write-up here); Lovescape has nothing like that on its record. But “no breach” plus “no E2E” means: if Lovescape ever gets breached, your chats, images, and video are in the leak.
Two structural notes for your risk math: the operator is Warmtech Ltd of Limassol, Cyprus (an EU company, so GDPR applies), and the Lovescape platform also powers Xtease.AI as a white-label. Xtease’s assets are served from cdn.lovescape.com. Same platform, same operator-side exposure: data you generate on either brand lives on the same infrastructure, and the two shouldn’t be treated as independent alternatives to each other.
How it compares
vs Candy.ai: Candy is the all-rounder, better chat writing, comparable pricing on annual. Lovescape wins on the visual-first inline experience and has the video feature as a clean differentiator. If you want the best baseline, Candy. If you want the richest in-conversation media, Lovescape.
vs MyLovely: MyLovely’s annual is around $4/month on promo, materially cheaper than Lovescape’s $7.99 Soulmate. If the lowest sticker price is what matters, MyLovely. Lovescape’s argument versus MyLovely is the video feature and the inline experience.
vs OurDream: OurDream claims E2E encryption (unaudited); Lovescape does not. If E2E is a hard requirement for you, OurDream wins by default. Secrets AI is the other product making the same claim. Lovescape is the richer media product; OurDream is the privacy product.
vs Candy (no breach, mainstream): Candy is the safer pick for users who don’t want to think about privacy posture. Lovescape is where you go if the inline video experience specifically appeals and you’re okay with category-standard privacy.
Who should buy it
- Users who want inline image + audio + video in one integrated conversation
- People on the Soulmate $7.99 annual tier specifically, which is the sweet spot
- Anyone evaluating video-capable companions alongside Joi, Secrets, and Get-Harder
- Users who don’t need E2E and understand what that means
Skip it if: you need the lowest annual price (MyLovely); you need E2E (OurDream or Secrets AI, both unaudited claims); you want the best-in-category chat writing (Candy or Secrets); you burn through NSFW content fast and don’t want to manage chips.
Verdict
Lovescape is a legitimate product with a clear point of view (visual-first, inline everything, aggressive annual pricing) and one real privacy limitation that the marketing copy doesn’t put on the front page. At the Soulmate $7.99 annual rate, it’s competitive with Candy on price and genuinely differentiated on experience. The credit system will push heavy NSFW users toward top-ups faster than they’d like; that’s working as intended from Lovescape’s perspective and is a real friction from yours.
The 150,000-user count is small relative to Candy’s 50M or DreamGF’s registered base, which means less public-incident surface area in both directions: fewer eyes means fewer detected problems, but also genuinely smaller blast radius if something does go wrong. As of April 2026, nothing bad has been publicly reported.
If you want a video-first inline companion at a reasonable annual rate and you’re okay with standard category privacy posture, Lovescape is a good pick. If E2E or absolute-cheapest pricing are your priorities, there are better options elsewhere.
FAQ
Is Lovescape safe to use? No public breach incidents as of June 2026. The main privacy concern is the lack of E2E encryption. The operator is Warmtech Ltd, and the same platform powers Xtease.AI as a white-label, so the two share infrastructure. Full write-up at the Lovescape safety review.
How much does Lovescape cost? At the time of our testing: monthly was $5.99-$12.99 depending on tier, Soulmate annual was $7.99/month (47% off), and longer-term annual plans went up to 70% off. The product has since repositioned as an AI porn generator and the tier lineup appears to have changed (including signs of a new “Creative Pro” tier), so verify current pricing on the site before buying.
What are tokens and how fast do they burn? Tokens (marketed as “chips” when we tested) are the credit currency for NSFW content. You get a monthly allocation with each tier and buy more as needed. During heavy NSFW sessions they deplete quickly, so budget for top-ups or pace yourself.
Does Lovescape have video generation? Yes, short-form video clips inline in the conversation. Quality is in line with 2026 generated video: good on static scenes, shakier on motion.
Does Lovescape use end-to-end encryption? No. Chats are encrypted in transit and at rest but Lovescape’s infrastructure can read them. OurDream and Secrets AI both claim E2E, though neither claim has a published audit.
Is Lovescape better than Candy.ai? Different products. Candy has better baseline chat writing and a longer clean track record. Lovescape has the visual-first inline experience and video. Pick on the axis that matters to you.
How big is Lovescape’s user base? Around 150,000 registered users as of early 2026. Smaller than Candy (around 50 million) but large enough to be a going concern.
Lovescape starts with a free tier, no credit card needed.
