DreamGF Restructures to Four-Tier Pricing: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond
DreamGF moved from three paid tiers to four in 2024, introducing a premium Diamond tier at $99.99/month. The move reshaped how the app monetizes power users.
DreamGF, one of the largest AI girlfriend apps by user base, restructured its pricing during 2024 from a three-tier to a four-tier scheme. The current layout, documented across PowerUsers and LoveDignity, runs Bronze ($9.99/month), Silver ($19.99/month), Gold ($49.99/month), and Diamond ($99.99/month), with annual billing saving roughly 25% across all tiers.
The restructure is interesting less for what it says about DreamGF than for what it signals about the economics of the category at the top of the curve.
The old scheme vs. the new
The previous pricing had a low, mid, and high tier. What the restructure did was keep the low and mid (rebranded Bronze and Silver), compress what used to be the high tier into Gold, and add Diamond on top as a new premium ceiling. The Diamond tier is not a modest upgrade. At $99.99/month it’s meaningfully above what the rest of the category charges at its top tier, and the feature set (600 girls unlockable, 2,500 images/month, unlimited messaging, 12,000 credits) is pitched at users who are effectively using DreamGF as their primary entertainment spend.
What the move says about user behavior
Product teams don’t introduce a ~$100/month tier unless they have data showing users who’ll pay it. The interesting inference from the restructure is that DreamGF’s heaviest users were hitting the limits of the old top tier and either paying for extra credits a la carte (high friction, visible to the user) or churning because the top tier didn’t scale enough for them. Diamond captures that segment without forcing them into a worse purchase flow.
That segment exists across the category, not just at DreamGF. Our read, triangulating from the visible pricing changes across competitors, is that roughly 2-5% of any given companion app’s paid user base would pay $100+/month if the tier existed and had commensurate limits. That’s a small slice of users but a non-trivial slice of revenue, and it’s why you see similar ultra-premium tiers cropping up at Secrets, Muah, and a few others through 2025 and into 2026.
The Bronze tier question
Bronze at $9.99 (25 girls, 150 images, 1,500 messages, 600 credits) is positioned as the entry-to-paid step, and it’s useful mostly as a way to preview the full product at a low commitment. In practice, Bronze users tend to either upgrade within 60 days or churn. The middle path of staying on Bronze indefinitely is rare, per user-behavior reports in the category. That suggests Bronze is doing its job as a funnel tier rather than as a destination.
The Silver tier is the interesting one
Silver at $19.99 (60 girls, 400 images, 5,000 messages, 1,800 credits) is where DreamGF actually makes most of its individual-user revenue. The 5,000-message ceiling is high enough that most users don’t hit it, the image cap is generous enough that image-heavy use stays within tier, and the girl count is enough to avoid the “I’ve exhausted the roster” problem. In our read, this is the tier DreamGF most wants users to land in, and the four-tier restructure implicitly reinforces that by making Gold and Diamond feel like specialist upgrades rather than default next steps.
What this does to the category
DreamGF’s move to four tiers followed (or arguably precipitated) a broader trend across the category toward more pricing tiers rather than fewer. Candy, Secrets, and a couple of others have also moved toward finer-grained tier structures since 2024, typically with new tiers added at the top rather than the bottom. Free-tier and entry-paid users are increasingly being asked to look at a more complex pricing page, which has real implications for conversion.
For users comparing apps, the effect is that apples-to-apples pricing comparison has gotten harder. The old “$10 vs $15 vs $20” comparison doesn’t cleanly work when app A has four tiers and app B has two. We try to normalize this in our Cheap companions ranking by computing effective cost-per-useful-unit across tiers rather than just headline monthly prices.
For readers considering DreamGF
Bronze is fine as a preview. Silver is where most users should start if they already know they want a companion app. Gold is for heavy image users. Diamond is for users who’ve been paying for ultra-premium tiers on multiple apps and have the spending pattern that justifies it. If you’re not in that category already, you’re probably not in it for DreamGF either. Our DreamGF review covers the full product evaluation.
